Physical Sciences is a dynamic School within the Faculty of Engineering, Physical Sciences and Architecture (EPSA) committed to excellence in research and teaching.

Casual Tutoring Positions

Applications are due in the middle of February (for Semester 1) and the middle of July (for Semester 2).

The School of Physical Sciences seeks to appoint a Lecturer (Level B)/Senior Lecturer (Level C) in Theoretical Quantum Atom Optics (tenurable). The interdisciplinary field of quantum atom optics (QAO) has formed at the intersection of atomic, molecular and optical physics, condensed matter physics, and computational physics. The field is driven by an unprecedented level of experimental control of degenerate Bose and Fermi gas systems with a well-defined theoretical basis in quantum many-body theory.
